I used PTI’s Peony Cover Plate Die to cut out a variety of layers of SU papers.

I used PTI’s Background Basics: Super Stripes Stamp Set to make the ombre rainbow. I used a large variety of SU, Tim Holtz and Hero Arts inks. The paper is Bazzill’s Marshmallow and SU Whisper White.

I will also be playing this over at Uniko Studio’s Challenge #17: Love and Friendship and SSS’s Wednesday Challenge Simon Says Have a Heart and TIME OUT’s challenge #23: Valentine’s Day With the Optional Twist of Hearts

Isn’t this one lovely?

I loved the soft blue, pinks and greens as well as the rose.

Here’s a card inspired by it.

I used PTI’s Peony Cover Plate Die to cut out a variety of layers of SU papers. Before I cut the papers I did some ink blending in order to make some different shades of the various colors. Per Laura Bassen’s advice in her Craftsy class, I bought a Quickstik tool. It is “rockin’ awesome” as she would say. 🙂 This card was a bit fussy, but it would have been infuriately tedious without the Quickstik. I highly recommend it.
