I’m very happy to here with you to share a “just for fun” Clean and Simple Christmas card.
This card was inspired by a bunch of great challenges that are currently going on. (see below)
I used some much loved Papertrey Ink products. I would like to take this opportunity to wish Nicole Heady much joy as she moves on from Papertrey Ink.
The card was also inspired by the fact that
WE ARE GOING TO GET SNOW
in Maine TODAY!
Yes. 
YES! The Lane family is excited. 
The fact that we’ve lived on multiple continents, various countries, all over the U.S.A. and not really having had a lot of snow for the past 15 years has generated great enthusiasm in my children at the snowy forecast here.
Here’s look at our house, lit up and awaiting the first snow.
I hope to have some lovely snowy photos to share tomorrow. (My husband and I moved away during the summer of 1995 and we may be just as excited as our children.)

I attached the outside “frame” part of the sponged heart panel to a white card base. 
Then, to give the card a clean and finished look, I a die cut a panel of white cardstock using the heart cover plate die and added it to the top of the frame and card base. 
I thought the colors were a bit too vibrant so I toned them down but squashing the word die cut onto my Craft ink pad and blending the white ink with my finger. Lastly traced the sentiment with a white gel pen.
