Today I have a multi-layer card to share with you.
My card was inspired by Melissa Phillips’ card for this week’s MIM #202.
Here is Melissa’s lovely creation.
Here’s a closer look at my card.
I used PTI’s Heart Cover Plate die in several ways for this card. I made a stencil and sponged the background and then used part of the stencil down the center of the card. I used some of the die cut hearts. Also, I used the cover plate to create a border die cut with a faux eyelet ribbon edge.
I used PTI’s Super Stripes stamp set to make another faux ribbon for the sentiment strip.
I’m going to play this over at Make It Monday’s #202: Anchoring With Border and Banner Dies Challenge and over at the Butterfly Challenge and at SSS’s Monday Challenge: No Rules.
Thanks for stopping by!
XO
Melissa

Thanks, Laura. Melissa Phillips is so good at this and makes it look so easy. I struggle with this, but I’m trying to stretch myself.

Thanks Diana! I just last week moved my stamping table to a sunny window and I have a nice lens on my camera. 🙂

I like how you have taken the inspiration and made it your own. Super dimensional butterfly for the centre of the card. Welcome to my Butterfly challenge. I don’t think you have played before. Thankyou for fluttering by my 1st anniversary butterfly challenge. Hugs Mrs A.
