So! Now that we’ve gotten the business out of the way, let’s get to my cards. I made 9 for this post!! I’m excited to be showcasing three of the four 1rst release sets in this post.  I’m going to keep my comments to a minimum from here out, so if you have any questions please leave them in the comments.

#1. First up is a card using both Bold Birthday Sentiments and Butterfly Birthday.

Slide2IMG_9607edited2IMG_9614editedI made the next card using Big Bold Numbers.

Big Bold Numbers

Card #2:

Slide1Don’t be shocked. The new year is only 101 days away.  😉 This is a pretty simple card. I created a bokeh background and added the silver heat embossed numbers. These number stamps are BIG and Bold and FUN!

I used the Bold Birthday Sentiments set for this next group of cards.

Bold Birthday Sentiments

Card #3:

Slide4I adhered almost every stamp in the set to my stamp press and then inked it up and made 4 different versions of the same card, using the stamped sentiment background. I really like the font of this set and the sentiments are versatile. You could use them for any celebration, not only a birthday.

Slide5 Last up are 3 cards using Butterfly Birthday.

Slide7Woop wooop woooop! Bonus prize alert! LOOK FOR THE HONEYBEE PHOTO AT THE END OF THIS POST!!!

This is my absolute favorite stamp set in the release!

I love these butterflies. I used the “Happy Birthday” sentiment to create a background paper for this first card. I am loving this set so much that I am giving away 1 set to one randomly drawn visitor at honeybeelane. Please look for the Honeybee PHOTO at the very bottom of this post in order to enter the drawing for this stamp set from me! This is a private drawing sponsored by me and YOU MUST ENTER FROM my RAFFLE here in THIS POST at HONEYBEELANE in order enter the drawing.

This next butterfly card showcases one of the beautiful butterflies, embossed in black and with a “smooshed” watercolor background.

Card #8: (I’d like to play this card at CAS(E) This Sketch #141):

Slide8I made this next card using all 3 of the butterflies in the Butterfly Birthday set. I did some fussy cutting on this card. (Love this technique!!)

Card #9: (I’d like to play this card at SSS Monday’s Challenge: Love This Technique & Word Art Wednesday’s Challenge #201: Anything Goes.)

Slide1  I hope I have inspired you today with my cards. The other HLS designers & I have had a lot of fun playing with these stamps!  Don’t forget that you need to visit all of the designers in the hop in order to be eligible for the prize.

Now, you should be off to Sue Trembeth’s blog.

Because I am loving this Butterfly Birthday stamp set so much that I am giving away 1 set to one randomly drawn visitor.

  9. You’ve shown me so many lovely and gorgeous cards I don’t know what to comment on other than the butterfly set has quickly become my favorite along with the numbers. I’ve learned much just seeing how you’ve used these sets. Thank you for the inspiration.
