I have 2 cards to share with you today.
Here’s my first card using multiple HLS products, Brusho Watercolor Crystals and a gold glass pen.
To make this card:
I made a stencil with a butterfly die and stamped in butterflies in the negative spaces of the stencil.
Removed the stencil and masked off the stamped images.
Sprinkled on red Brusho crystals.
Spritzed with water.
Allowed to the water dry and fussy cut the panel.
Added some gold accents with the glass pen.
Stamped, cut and added the sentiment.
Assembled the card with foam tape and snail adhesive. Here’s card#2. Comparatively, it’s a very CAS (Clean and Simple) card. I used stamps from Doodled Flowers.
I smooshed my watercolor panel onto a craft mat that I had sprinkled with Brushos Crystal Color and spritzed/wetted. Then, to add some large, impressionistic bold flowers, I added more Brushos through a stencil. I did some stamping, masking and heat embossing with the butterfly and flower stamps. Then, I did a combination partial die-cutting with a HLS Butterfly Die and also some fussy cutting to cut out the butterflies and flowers. I attached all of the pieces of the panel, including the cut-out pieces, in puzzle-like fashion, onto the front of a card base. I added foam tape to the flower/butterfly puzzle pieces. I added white details with a gel pen. I stamped the Sending Hugs (Doodle Flowers) sentiment on black cardstock. I heat embossed and fussy cut that. I hope that you are inspired and that you going to enjoy joining in too!
I stamped the sentiment, did some fussy cutting and added the chevron butterfly panel to the card front with foam tape.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
I hope that you have been inspired to play along with us this game. Make sure you stop by AAA Cards and visit all of the design team members blogs.

P.S. This week’s challenge theme reminds me of this hymn:
I used the “spotlight” technique. Maybe I should say “spotlights?”
I had fun creating my own background stamp using HLS’ Butterfly Birthday, Mix Mash and Doodled Flowers. I adhered a bunch of stamps to my stamp press all at once, inked the stamps up with a dark brown ink and then stamped multiple panels.
I colored one panel with alcohol markers and then die cut several circles.I attached the spotlights to the uncolored panel. I added a dark blue mat and a Kraft card base.
