Sunset Bird

Today I have a quick post with a CAS 1-layer card to share with you.

I used Less is More’s Week #236 One-layer: The Eyes Have it and Colour Me’s CMCC#84 – Colour Me…. Striking! colors as inspiration for this card.

 Today, I enjoyed making this card and two others that are similar to it. For this card, I used a small embossing Sizzix folder, Fun Frames, to set the image apart. Then I embossed the top half with Sizzix Decorative Dots Embossing folder.

In the Garden – 2

I’m excited to share another watercolor project with you today.

I used the colors from this week’s Colour Me Challenge #59: SU’s Pool Party, So Saffron & Real Red.

 I used an emboss-resist technique on this card, stamping in VersaMark, adding clear embossing powder, heating and then painting the image and the background. I’m going to play this card over at Addicted to Stamps & More’s Challenge #132 – Make your Mark  and even though I don’t have any Neat and Tangled stamps I love the inspiring cards in their watercolor challenge, so I’m going to try playing over there for the first time!
