Happy Little Stampers April 2017 Mixed Media Challenge – Sprays

Hi! I’m very happy to be here with you today with a card for Happy Little Stampers Mixed Media Challenge.

Here’s my card. Thinking Spring!

  I used stamps from  Happy Little Stampers’ Thinking of You

and Fun Birthday Sentiments.

 

I started this card by creating a smooshed blue and yellow Brusho Crystal Color background panel.  Next, I used a butterfly die cut as a stencil and sponged on blue ink through the negative spaces. I stamped with the large script background stamp from Thinking of You stamp and the Happy Birthday in blue ink. I traced the large sentiment with white gel pen. I started the panel with the Brushos last summer at the first HLS retreat in Swindon. I finished the card back at my house in Germany. I sprayed the panel with homemade blue alcohol ink and added blue gel pen around the stenciled butterfly.
