STAMPlorations March Challenge – All About Spring and Faith

Hi! I’m here with a special post for STAMPlorations March Challenge.

You’ve probably heard by now that STAMPlorations owner and designer, Shery Russ, welcomed a daughter named “Winter” to the family in December. In order to give Shery some time to catch her breath we are going to take a little “Winter” break!

There will be just one STAMPlorations challenge for you to join for the months of February, March and April. You’ll find it announced on STAMPlorations blog the 5th of each of those months. The challenge will have a theme and as long as you follow the theme, any type of project is welcome! We’ll return to our regular schedule in May.

Here’s my card using STAMPlorations: Faith – Typografia In Faith,  Big Bloom Factory and CUTplorations: Flutter Zen 1 Layering Dies.

Lots of masking, stamping, a rainbow of color, a great sentiment stamp and a surprise of hidden butterflies.

Love Is In The Air

Hi! How’s the weather in your neck of the woods? We’ve been having lots of snow. I love it. It is very beautiful, but I know that Spring is on its way. I have a Spring feeling card to share with you today.

Happy Little Stampers Watercolor October – Gold

I’m very happy to be back with you for this month’s HLS Watercolor challenge.

I have 2 cards to share with you today.

Here’s my first card using multiple HLS products, Brusho Watercolor Crystals and a gold glass pen.

To make this card:

1. I made a stencil with a butterfly die and stamped in butterflies in the negative spaces of the stencil.
2. Removed the stencil and masked off the stamped images.
3. Sprinkled on red Brusho crystals.
4. Spritzed with water.
5. Allowed to the water dry and fussy cut the panel.
6. Added some gold accents with the glass pen.
7. Stamped, cut and added the sentiment.
8. Assembled the card with foam tape and snail adhesive.Here’s card#2. Comparatively, it’s a very CAS (Clean and Simple) card. I used stamps from Doodled Flowers.

Here’s my autumnal colored card using Uniko’s English Country Garden and I LOVE Coffee (sentiment).

To make this card:

1. I stamped with the small, solid butterfly stamp in fall-inspired colors.
2. Then, I stamped over the images in gold pigment ink with the coordinating detailed butterfly stamp.
