Today I have an exciting announcement to make! I’m one of the newest mixed media card artists at The Mixed Media Card Challenge. I’ll be joining the mixed media card challenge design team beginning in July. To celebrate the announcement today I made a bunch of butterfly cards today. I had a lot of fun making all sorts of different ones!
Here is a Freestyle Collage version:
For this card I used a Shower of Flutters – ARTplorations Stencil along with the corresponding stamp from Stamplorations. First, I sponged on a rainbow using Stampin’ Up inks. I love rainbows! What way did you memorize the 7 colors of the rainbow? Did you use an acronym like Roy G. Biv? Or maybe a mnemonic like Richard Of York Gave Battle In Vain? Rainbows are beautiful and remind me of God’s mercy, kindness and grace. I have to force myself NOT to color every card with the 7 colors of the rainbow.
Next I stamped with VersaMark. I used the back side of the Stamplorations butterfly stamps and then heat embossed in silver. Then I spritzed on some Smooch Spritz. I’m going to play this at The Card Concept #37-The Butterfly Effect, SSS’s Monday Challenge: Stamp + Mist and AEI♥U Challenge #25 – Rainbow! The sentiment is from Avery Elle’s Noel Stamp set.
Thanks for stopping by!

P.S. Peace, Love and Joy, these words make me think of how much my family and I enjoy TobyMac’s music. Here’s a fun video for you to enjoy. I hope it makes you smile.
