STAMPlorations – Holiday TAGplorations – Reminder 2

Hi! I’m excited to be here for  STAMPlorations with another reminder post for the first ever Holiday TAGplorations event.

I made a bunch of tags for the kick-off day and as a reminder the day before yesterday. You can see those here or here if you’d like. Remember to comment and link up over at the 4 November post. 🙂

Get ready for our 1st Holiday TAGplorations event!

I have 3 tags to share with you today.

img_3529_edited-1

I heat embossed the framed coffee cup, masked off the mug, sponged on the red stripes and sponged on the brown around the edges.

img_3533_edited-1

This next tag os a long one! I used the smallest die in the luggage tags die set and did some partial die cutting to make the tag base. The mugs are from the Anywhere There’s Coffee set. I fussy cut those. The rainbow cord is from Really Reasonable Ribbon, but I’m not sure if they carry it anymore.

img_3546_edited-1

The next tag is another long one and could also be used as a bookmark. img_3561_edited-1I used the smallest rectangle in the Rectangle Nesting Dies and did some partial die cutting again. I also did some masking and elongated the Framed Tea Cups stamp.

img_3551_edited-1

After heat embossing in white, I added Brusho Color Crystals and spray starch. I can’t decide if I’ll use this as a tag or put it in someone’s stocking as a bookmark. 🙂 I love rainbows. It would be fun to get one in my stocking on Christmas morning!

I hope that you enjoyed seeing these tags today. Thanks for stopping by!

clbhfall2016edited

Hi! I’m very happy to have you visiting my blog today.

I have a bright card to share with you that I designed with STAMPlorations products for the Fall CLBH.

               img_2423edited

Speaking of “lovers”……STAMPlorations is one of the FAll CLBH sponsors and Shery has a bunch Coffee & Tea lover themed products in her store.

Here’s a closer look at my card:img_2407edited

I love this new STAMPlorations set – Anywhere There’s Coffee Stamps & Die Set by Shery.

SheryRuss_AnywhereTheresCoffee-preview

Besides the stamps from Anywhere There’s Coffee Stamps & Die Set,  I also used the ARTplorations stencil Chevron Crazy.

img_2401_edited-1How I made this card:

  1. I made the background by reverse stenciling with Brusho Crystal Colours and the Chevron Crazy stencil.
  2. I used the stencil in the traditional way and sponged green, blue and purple ink on white card stock.img_2422edited
  3. I stamped the travel coffee cup onto the sponged background. SheryRuss_AnywhereTheresCoffee-preview
  4. I fussy cut the cup.img_2405edited
  5. Matted the chevron panel in Kraft.
  6. Stamped the sentiment.img_2421edited
  7. Added the matted panel to the card base.
  8. Attached the cup with foam tape.img_2406edited

I really enjoyed making this card and I hope that you enjoyed seeing it.

  4. I stamped the cup onto the heart panel.img_2383edited
  5. I fussy cut travel coffee cup. SheryRuss_AnywhereTheresCoffee-preview
  6. I sponged some pink onto the cup.
