Hi! I’m here with a post for PTI’s Stamp-a-faire. This is my first year participating in SAF and I’ve been having a lot of fun.
Here’s my card for the Threads Challenge:
I cased Laura’s card as inspiration for mine.
I used the same ink-blending technique as Laura used on hers. The ink on the 2 panels is lighter in the center.I used PTI’s Heart Cover Plate Die, the Sunshine Impression Plate and a sentiment from the Scripted Stamp Set to make this card.
Thanks for stopping by!

Well Hello! Thanks for visiting today. I’m so excited to have you here because I have a fun announcement to share with you. With this post, I have the honor & privilege of joining the ladies at AAA Cards as one of 3 new members of the AAA Cards Design Team!
This week’s Challenge#47 is Spectacular Embossing.
I am truly “Giving Thanks” to the ladies at AAA Cards for inviting me to be part of their team! I had fun with this card and used a couple of my favorite techniques, sponging/ink-blending and emboss resist. I learned these techniques from Laura Bassen in her “Craftsy” class.
After stamping my image in VersaMark and heat embossing with clear embossing powder, I did some ink blending on top of the butterfly. I really enjoy using this stamp! The sentiment if from PTI’s Scripted stamp set. I highly recommend this set.
I’d like to play this card over at SSS’s Wednesday Challenge: Anything Goes and Word Art Wednesday’s Challenge #198 – Anything Goes.
Please head over to AAA Cards and check out all of the superb creations by my new teammates. Thanks for stopping by for my debut post with the AAA Cards Design Team! I’m very happy that you did. 🙂 I hope that I helped to inspire you to play along with challenge #47.
XO

Hi! My kids and I are headed out to the train station to get on a 4 o’clock train to meet my husband; we need to get our tickets to Vaihingen. He’s picking us up and then we’re going to see the movie “War Room”. We’ll need to pick up our tickets for the 6 o’clock showing of the movie too! I’m really looking forward to it. Lots of tickets in this post.
This post is a bit different because I’m not really sharing a card in it. Today, I have a ticket bookmark and a ticket tag to share with you.
This week Betsy, over at PTI’s MIM, used a stamp kissing technique but changed it up a bit by using a stamp and a die cut instead of two stamps. I had This technique was fun and I think I’ll be trying it again very soon. Here’s the post with the card I made for MIM.
I did a test run with the 2 PTI products I wanted to use, the Bloomers stamp set, and the Heart cover Plate die.
The process……
Here’s the inked up die cut which I recycled for the bookmark and tag.
I stamped the front side with “Many Blessings” from PTI’S Scripted Stamp Set. I also decorated the back of the tag and made a space to write on. I made my own tickets but using a circle punch to chomp off the corners of the tickets and then I drew the lines on free-hand.
I added some Glossy Accents to the heart negatives on the bookmark. The sentiment is from PTI’s Bibliophile stamp set.
I’d like to play the tag over at WAW’s Challenge #198 – Anything Goes and Wednesday’s Simon Says Anything Goes
and the bookmark at SSS Mondays’: Ticket, Please.
