Yellow Heart Die Cut Flower

Today I have another quick post with a CAS card to share.

IMG_4617edited

I made this card a while back, but have not played it anywhere until now. I think that it work’s perfectly for CASology’s Shape cue word and HLS’s Die-cut/Punches Challenges. I used a SU stamp, VersaMark ink, a white gel pen and a Sizzix Heart Die to make this card.

Bubbly Blue Squares

Today I have another CAS card to share with you.

IMG_4808edited

I die cut some squares out of my stash of “smooshed” watercolor paper. Then I stamped the circles/bubbles in VersaMark and heat embossed with silver embossing powder. I’m going to play this over at JUG’s #292: Embossing. I added some Glossy Accents and adhered the squares together with Tombow Mono liquid glue and popped up the white matted layer with foam tape.

I used a PTI sentiment stamp for this card. The design was inspired by Casology’s Cue Word: Shape, HLS’s May CAS: Die Cuts/Punches Challenge. I am also going to play this over at Little Tangles: Challenge #56- Clean and Simple.

Poppy Sisters

Today I have a pair of sister CAS cards to share with you.

Here is the first one: IMG_4834edited

To start this first card I used a paint brush to apply VersaMark ink to my SU Poppy Background stamp. Then I added Melon Mambo and Pool Party ink with my SU markers on top of the Versamark.

IMG_4835editedIMG_4841edited IMG_4842edited IMG_4595editedI stamped the image and then heat embossed with clear embossing powder. ( I’m going to play this over at JUG’s #292: Embossing.) Then I colored in the flowers and stems with the same markers.

IMG_4596edited  After that, I used a scalloped circle to IMG_4598editeddie cut the flowers and a Avery Elle “hello” die to cut out the sentiment. I’m going to play this at Casology’s Cue Word: Shape and Seize the  Birthday’s: Use the Negative.

And here’s the sister:

For this card I used nearly the same technique as with the first except that I did not use VersaMark or heat embossing. Also, I added the “hello” die from the first card with several white hellos below it to add some dimension. I made a scalloped window and rounded the corners on this card too. The design for this card was inspired by  HLS’s May CAS: Die Cuts/Punches Challenge and SSS Wednesday’s: Simon Says Let’s Get Sentimental.
