AAA Cards Game #124 – Imagine

Hi! I’m back with a fun new challenge for AAA Cards.

 

Special tips for competing (and being eligible to win) in this game:

1. As always, we’re looking for Clean and Simple (CAS) greeting cards, BUT for this game please make sure to use the theme of “imagination” of your card front.
2. As always and for all of our games our definition of Clean and Simple means that white space should not be patterned, embossed or textured.

I’ve also been inspired by the flowers in my garden.

  I’ll miss my garden and look forward to the blooms next spring. For now I’ll enjoy my garden until the first frost and will have to imagine what it will look like next year.

AAA Cards Game #121 – Friendship

Hi! I’m back with a fun new challenge for AAA Cards Game #121.

 

Special tips for competing (and being eligible to win) in this game:

1. As always, we’re looking for Clean and Simple (CAS) cards, BUT for this game please feature a friendship theme. AAA Cards is a SUPER CAS challenge. If you’d like to play for a prize make sure to follow our CAS guidelines.
   
2. As always and for all of our games our definition of Clean and Simple means that white space should not be patterned, embossed or textured! This includes pre-patterned, pre-embossed and pre-textured cardstock and papers.

Here’s my super CAS, one-layer card.

I changed a plain heart stamp into a balloon image with some creative stamping. I also used a simple masking technique and a little water coloring.

AAA Cards Game #111 – Use only one third

Hi! I’m back with a fun new challenge for AAA Cards.

Special tips for competing (and being eligible to win) in this game:

1. As always, we’re looking for Clean and Simple (CAS) greeting cards, BUT for this game please make sure to use ONLY 1/3 of your card front. The remaining 2/3 of the front of your greeting card should remain totally unaltered.
2. As always and for all of our games our definition of Clean and Simple means that white space should not be patterned, embossed or textured.

Here’s my rainbow card using Winnie & Walter’s LS Exclusives: So Tweet with Evelin T Designs.

I chose some small stamps from the set.

I’ve used the super cute birds in this set a number of times before.

This time though, I resisted the little cuties and put some of the other stamps to use.

I wanted to make a super Clean and Simple (CAS) 1-layer card. This card would be perfect for encouragement or a birthday.

Here’s how I made it:

1. I set my top-fold card in my MISTI.
2. I lined up the stamps on the card and then closed the MISTI to pick up the stamps.
3. I inked up my line of stamps. I like to start with yellow first and then add the darker colors so as to not mess up the yellow ink pad. I use the edge of the ink pad and add all of the colors, one after the other, and then stamp all of the colors at the same time. (I used a red marker to color the heart.)
4. I repeated the process several times until the colors were nice and opaque.

Typografia in Faith – March 2018

Hi! I’m happy to be here to feature 2 new Typografia in Faith stamps from STAMPlorations.

Here are my two cards.

I also used the new Bloomtangled Cover Plate die #1 to make both of these cards.

I made a stencil using the die and used it for this next card.
