A bunch of Hellos

Today I have some “Hello” cards to share with you.

My card was inspired by Melissa’s for CASology’s Week #134 challenge: Monochrome.

Here’s her lovely monochromatic CAS card:

Another look at mine:

IMG_0983I stamped the phone booth in Versafine ink twice, fussy cut one and die cut a “hello” out of the other. I lined up the stamping and, after adding foam tape to both the booth and the word, attached both to the card front.  I stamped the hearts, then added the swirls and traced the hearts.

Different variations of this card kept popping into my head. In the end I ended up with 8 different cards!

Places I’m playing:

hi man

I have another masculine card to share with you today.

I had fun doing this card. I used Tim Holtz (NBUS) distress ink to water color and a emboss resist technique. These are very new, and fun, techniques for me.

The design for this card was inspired by Jenn for SSS’s Wednesday (It’s a Guy Thing) Challenge. I am also playing along at SSS’s Monday Challenge: Inky Background and Darnell’s NBUS challenge.
