Our challenge:
Here’s my card using Happy Little Stampers Thinking of You, Doodled Flowers and Butterfly Birthday.Lots of messy, lovely mixed media techniques went into the making of this card.
I used watercolor paper, ink-blending/sponging, stamping,
masking, stenciling, gel pens,
Glossy Accents, Stickles,
gold pigment ink, fussy cutting and foam tape.
I enjoyed making this card and hope you enjoyed this post.

Hi! I’m excited to be here for STAMPlorations for the first day of our Holiday TAGplorations event.
I have a bunch of tags to share with you today.
I used the CUTplorations Luggage Tags Nesting Dies to make all of my tags. I also used lots of different ARTplorations stencils on these tags. Please see the bottom of the post.
First, I’ll give you a closer look at the 5 Thanksgiving tags that I made.
I used Brusho Crystal Colors, heat embossing and ink-blending on the tag above.
This next tag has a smooshed background as the tag base (variety of coral colored inks with red Stickles mixed in). I also stamped in red with the real leaves (attached) on the base tag, die cut another tag from a disposable coffee cup and added the inked up leaves to the fussy cut mug.
I love the honeycomb stencil that I used on this next tag.
As you can see, I designed, and then printed, my own digital sentiments on vellum. I included a PDF of the sentiments for you to use. Please click here or on the image below to be taken to the printable version.
And now, for a closer look at my 4 Christmas tags.
I hope that you enjoyed and were inspired by my tags today. Please do come and play along!

Hi! I’m very happy to be here with you today with a card for Happy Little Stampers October Mixed Media Challenge.
Our challenge:
Here’s my card using Happy Little Stampers Thinking of You, Everyday Sentiments, Butterfly Birthday:
Although this is a mixed media card, I wanted to keep it on the clean side and allow the beauty of the fern shine. So, I made the white space left behind by the embossing be my focal point. While the warm colors may be vibrant, I think the fern remains the star and are complimented by the HLS products.
How I made this card:
4. After the panel dried, I stamped with the script block stamp from HLS’ Thinking of You.
5. Then I framed the panel with black card stock.
6. I created the card base and before attaching the panel I randomly stamped a butterfly from Butterfly Birthday around the edges of the card base with light yellow ink.
7. I also stamped and heat embossed a butterfly onto gold vellum.
8. I fussy cut the butterfly, but I could have used my HLS Butterfly Dies.
9. I stamped the sentiment, using the “Happy” and “Anniversary” stamps from Everyday Sentiments. 10. I heated embossed the “Happy” in gold embossing powder on black card stock.
11. I fussy cut the ‘Happy’.
12. I assembled the different pieces onto my card base.
I enjoyed making this card very much and hope you enjoyed this post.
