LOVE TAGplorations Hop – Day 4 – February 11, Saturday

Hi! I’m here for the 4th day of the LOVE TAGplorations event. The event will last for 7 days, with the final day being Valentine’s Day. The STAMPlorations Girls will be showcasing love-themed or Valentine’s Day tags or projects which include tags. You can play along too!

Here’s my rainbow “XOXO” tag:

First, I die cut my tag using the CUTplorations Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle Nesting Dies.

I die cut the XOXO sentiment out of the tag using the CUTplorations XOXO Word Die.

Then I sponged R.O.Y.G. & blue inks onto another, white “XOXO”

and inlaid the inked up die cut back into the tag. I added some bits of mixed media pieces to the edges of the tag and then dry embossed the entire tag.

I added a small hole with a circle hole punch and attached my raspberry tinted twine.

LOVE TAGplorations – Day 2 – February 9, Thursday

Hi! I’m here for the 2nd day of the LOVE TAGplorations event. The event will last for 7 days, with the final day being Valentine’s Day. The STAMPlorations Girls will be showcasing love-themed or Valentine’s Day tags or projects which include tags. You can play along too!

Here’s my very traditional Valentine’s Day tag:

I made my tag using the CUTplorations Luggage Tags Nesting Dies.

Then, I die cut 2 stencils using the CUTplorations XOXO Word Die and the Hugs Word Die. I sponged red ink through my homemade stencils.

I added some red and white twine. I decided that my tag needed to wear some

itsy-bitsy teenie-weenie scarlet polka-dot washi-ni,

so I added a bit of that.

LOVE TAGplorations – Day 1 – February 8, Wednesday

Hi! I’m here for the first day of the LOVE TAGplorations event. The event will last for 7 days, with the final day being Valentine’s Day. The STAMPlorations Girls will be showcasing love-themed or Valentine’s Day tags. You can play along too!

Here’s my tagged card.

I started by stamping the bird from STAMPlorations Trendy Birds 2, carefully inking up the stamp with a variety of colors, onto some white cardstock.

I masked off the bird and branch with some removable sticky label. Next, I sponged yellow and light green ink through the ARTplorations stencil Leaf Prints.

Then, I used the another ARTplorations stencil and added some tinted embossing paste with Retro Circles.

I made a tag using the CUTplorations Luggage Tags Nesting Dies.

I added pink embossing paste to the tag with the Dots All Over ARTplorations Stencil.

After the tag dried, I sponged on some deep pink ink onto the card front and the tag, using the Zen Hearts ARTplorations stencil.

Then, I die cut the “XOXO” sentiment with the CUTplorations XOXO Word Die out of the tag and inlaid another white die cut into the tag.

I rounded all of the corners of my mixed media bird panel, the yellow mat, and the card base. Lastly, I assembled the panels to the card and attached the tag sentiment and a bit of turquoise twine.
