AAA Cards Game #94 – One Layer

Hi! I’m happy to be here today with a post for AAA Cards Game #94 – One Layer.

Here’s my card using Happy Little Stampers’ Doodled Flowers and Butterfly Dies . I made my own butterfly stencil using the HLS butterfly die.

Some stenciling (sponged the 3 yellow butterflies, stenciled with a die cut, homemade stencil)+ some masking + repeat stamping + white gel pen & a sentiment =a bright and beautiful, butterflies and blooms, 1-layer, CAS card.

AAA Cards Game #91 – 3rd Birthday Blog Hop

Hi! I’m happy to be here today with a post for AAA Cards’ big blog hop and Game #91 – 3rd Birthday.

We have a treasure hunt going on! The idea is that each of the design team members and guest designers have placed a given number somewhere within our individual birthday blog posts. Here’s my card using Happy Little Stampers Mix Mash. I stamped in embossing ink, heat embossed in white and colored with watercolor pencils.

I made six of these cards, in a variety of colors.

My question:

There are lots of different perspectives on CAS (Clean and Simple) cards and what “white space” means. AAA Cards has our own very specific definition! 🙂 For a prize package of the ARTplorations “Some Birds” and the Happy Little Stampers’ Big Bold Numbers stamp set, please can you

tell me what AAA Cards’ definition of “White Space” is?

Happy Little Stampers Watercolor Challenge – February 2017 – Dies

Hello! I’m very excited to be here with you for our second HLS Watercolor Challenge.

As always at Happy Little Stampers’ challenges……..we have a prize for you!

We would like to extend a huge welcome to our Guest Designer, Ingrid!

Here’s my card:

I used the emboss-resist technique to create a panel with heart stamps, clear embossing powder and….

Then, I did some die-cutting with a heart die and then inlaid some CUTplorations ‘hugs’ word dies. I matted the hearty, huggy heart by attaching it with foam tape to a white square of cardstock. The white embossed hearts make me think of the “Os” in “XOXO”. So this is a “hugs & kisses” hearty card. Don’t you think?

Next, I made another rainbow panel to frame the white panel and attached the entire thing to a white square card base.
