I’m happy to be here today for AAA Cards Game #84 – Watercolor.

Here’s my card: I used a stamp set from Uniko, Background Builders: Squared. I used the emboss-resist technique. I did some heat embossing (one of my favorite techniques, using one of favorite tools) and then watercolored in some different blue, greens and purples. I did some additional masking and added an ombré line of color along either side of the squares.I stamped the sentiment and then attached the panel to a blue card base.

Winter 2016 Coffee Lovers Blog Hop – Sketched Green Cup of Hot Chocolate

Hi! I’m here with a card for the 2016 Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!

First, I drew the cup.
Then I fussy cut it out.

I created the background by sponging green ink through a paper doily.

I added some cream (acrylic paint) to the top of my hot chocolate. (I’m not a coffee drinker. 😉 )

I added some silver ink to the rim and handle of the cup.

I traced the cup image onto some copy/printer paper, created a mask and then sponged on the silvery-gray shadow to the left of the cup onto the white background. Thanks for stopping by!

Twelve Days of Christmas Cards Challenge with Kylie and Friends

Here’s my card, designed with stamps from Happy Little Stampers’ Everyday Sentiments. img_3737_edited-1

I repeat stamped the Christmas sentiment in green on watercolor paper.I die cut a circle and then heat embossed the “Merry” in silver onto shiny green cardstock.I punched a small banner from silver cardstock and punched a small hole in the top.I attached the watercolor panel to a white card base.

img_3628edited_edited-2 I added silver thread, tucked it between the watercolor paper and the card base at the top and then assembled the ornament by attaching the pieces to the card front with foam tape.
