ATSM Challenge #161 – AG

    Addicted to Stamps and More!

It’s time for another Anything Goes challenge at ATSM this week! This challenge is a favorite at Addicted to Stamps and More.  This week our sponsors are DeeDee’s Digis and Rosey Hearts. This first card is made with an image from Deedee’s Digi’s. Deedee is offering $15 coupon to the store for our winner.

The digital image “Classics” which I used for my card was generously supplied by Deedee.

From Deedee’s Digis web site about this digital stamp set:

“Who doesn’t like a classic?

This digital set includes: 2 outline images, 8 pre-colored images, 2 white-filled layering images, and 6 sentiments, in JPG and PNG file formats. All set elements have a resolution of 300 dpi/ppi, and are easily resizable to fit your crafting needs.”

Illustrated by and copyrighted to Deedee Anderson and Deedee’s Digis (TM). All rights reserved.

Here’s my card.

Slide1I printed the outline image 3 times. Once on SU Whisper White CS and twice on a SU DSP. Then I did some fussy cutting, paper piecing and gluing to put my car together. I also printed the sentiment straight onto to the Whisper White card base.

I also did some masking and ink-blending. I added silver gel pen to the hub caps and Glossy Accents to the windows, fenders and hub caps.

Can you tell that I had fun making this card?

IMG_9963editedMy second card is made with the “Cherry Blossoms” image from Rosey Hearts.

The prize is 5 digis from the store.

Cherry Blossoms a Rosey Hearts digital stamp made just for crafter's and the adult who love to color

I printed the image out twice on watercolor paper. Then I used a combination of water color techniques to color the images.

I have been trying out my new Zig Clean Color Brush Pens.

IMG_1165editedI fussy cut out some of the blossoms and added them, popping them up with foam adhesive, to the water colored panel. I also added some Glossy Accents “dew” to the blossoms. Then I added the banner sentiment.

ATSM Challenge #159 – CAS

I’m back with another fun challenge from ATSM. Our challenge this week is:

CLEAN AND SIMPLE

Addicted to Stamps and More!

Our Sponsor for this week:

The prize is 7 digis!

I made 3 cards to share with you today. Here is the first, and most CAS, one.

IMG_7655edited_edited-1I decided that I was not quite happy with this card and the following 2. So, I rounded the top corners and am much happier with them now. What do you think? With or without rounded corners?

IMG_9991edited The Love Conquers All image which I used for this card was generously supplied by this week’s ATSM Challenge #159 sponsor Bugaboo Digi Stamps.

These next two are not that CAS, but I’ll share them with you anyway because I had so much fun with this image.

IMG_7659edited_edited-1IMG_9996editedI wanted to give you an idea of the different looks that you can get with this one image.

IMG_7666_edited-1Make sure you stop over at ATSM to check out the beautiful, fun and creative selection of DT cards. Enjoy, play along, link up!

I’d like to play this 3rd card over at Uniko’s Challenge #24: Summer.

IMG_9981editedHere’s their super cute optional twist inspiration photo.

My girls are going to love this photo!

Slide1Here are the rules for the CAS Challenge.

Clean & Simple (CAS) – your entry MUST be Clean and Simple. This means that clean and crisp lines, minimal or no embellishments and lots of ‘white’ space should be used.
* White space does not need to be ‘white’. It can be any color. White space is a term used for the area of your card with no stamping, embellishments etc.

ATSM Challenge #155 – Photo

Wow! Is this a fun and inspiring photo that we have for our photo inspiration challenge #155 at ATSM this week or what!?

I was so inspired that I made 4 cards with the Silhouette – butterfly image generously supplied by this week’s ATSM Challenge #155 sponsor Bugaboo Digi Stamps.

IMG_6202editedI printed 2 butterflies on Classic Crest Solar White cs and 2 on water-color paper. I colored all of the butterflies images in with my SU! Stamp & Write Markers.

For this first card, I masked off the butterfly with some Inkadinkado Stamping Mask Paper. Then I stamped the flowers with the Black-eyed Susan stamp from PTI’s Flower Favorites. I really like this multi-step stamp! All of the inks a Stampin’ Up. I used a white gel pen to outline the butterfly. The “hello” is from PTI’s Noted Stamp Set. That is heated embossed in black. I’m going to play this next card at SSS’s Wednesday’s Anything Goes Challenge.

IMG_6186editedAfter coloring this next butterfly, I covered it with Glossy Accents. Then I used the “smooshing” technique, made famous by Laura Bassen to make the background and then added some Smooch Spritz. The red heat-embossed sentiment is from PTI’s Sentiment Splits.

I’m going to play this card over at Cropstop’s Linky Party #6 – Anything Goes.

IMG_6176editedFor this 3rd card I used some masking fluid to cover the colored-in butterfly and then sponged on some SU! So Saffron and Tim Holtz Squeezed Lemonade distress ink for the background. I’m going to play this card over at WAW’s Challenge #194.

IMG_6193editedI used an emboss-resist technique for this 4th card. The flower stamp is from Jane’s Doodles Pretty Peonies. After heat embossing with clear embossing powder, I sponged on a variety of SU! pinks, yellows and the Squeezed Lemonade distress ink. My 2 youngest daughters wanted me to added some pink glitter embossing powder. So I did. 🙂
