Winter 2016 Coffee Lovers Blog Hop – Stacked Cups 2

Hi! I’m here with another card for the 2016 Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!

To start this card, I printed this free stacked cups image from here at Beyond the Fringes Crafts. 🙂

Thanks for the free digi, Carmen!

These particular cups are recycled masks from a couple of other cards I made. 🙂
slide04   I printed Carmen’s free digi image onto removable mailing label and cardstock, then I fussy cut the image out.

Like I said, I recycled the cups on this card. I had originally used them for masks on 2 other cards that I will share later on in the week.

I loved how the masks looked after I was finished using them, so I could not throw them in the trash. 🙂

slide02I made the white curls in the background by stamping and heat embossing with a prize stamp from the Fall CLBH. 🙂 slide03edited_edited-1 I love this gorgeous background STAMP!

Curls Background Builder Cling Rubber Stamp

I used this stamp to make 3 different cards for the Winter CLBH.

Thanks, Jillian!

I love Carmen’s digital image and have designed 2 more cards (for a total of 5 different cards with this particular digi) for the Winter CLBH.

Here’s a peek at the 2 others that I will post later this week.

I also designed my own sentiment and printed it onto vellum.

You are welcome to print some of these for your own use. 🙂slide1slide03If you closely look at the cups, you can see that I also used another Jillian Vance Design stamp on the cups/masks on today’s card. slide01_edited-1

I also used a couple of ARTplorations stencils,

Chevron Crazy and Dots All Over.

Winter 2016 Coffee Lovers Blog Hop – Stacked Cups

Hi! I’m here with a card for the 2016 Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!!!!

To start, I printed a free stacked cups image from Beyond the Fringes Crafts. 🙂 Thanks for the free digi, Carmen!

slide01

I also printed the image onto removable mailing label and cardstock, then I fussy cut the images out. I also created a mask and then sponged on the silvery-gray shadow of the cups onto the background, to the left of the cups.slide02

Here’s a closer look at the “shadow” that I sponged on:slide03

I  fussy cut the sticky cups apart and then sponged on different Christmassy colors. Then, to add some rigidity, I restacked the sticker cups onto the cardstock stack of cups. I made the curls by stamping and heat embossing with my prize stamp from the Fall CLBH!

I love this gorgeous background STAMP!

Curls Background Builder Cling Rubber Stamp

I added gold to some of the swirls with a glass pen. I stamped the curly-swirly, steamy background with the JVD Curls background stamp too.

Thanks, Jillian! I love this stamp and have designed 2 more cards for the Winter CLBH with it. slide01

I designed my own “stacked” sentiment (see the bottom right below) and printed it onto vellum.

You are welcome to print some of these for your own use. 🙂slide1slide02Thanks for stopping by!

Melissa

Winter 2016 Coffee Lovers Blog Hop – Sketched Red Cup Cocoa

Hi! I’m here with a card for the 2016 Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!!!!

To start, first I sketched the cup. 🙂
slide4

Then I fussy cut my cup out.

slide1I created the background by sponging red ink through a paper doily onto white cardstock. I stamped the sentiment in the same red.slide5I watercolored the hot chocolate. (I’m not a coffee drinker. 😉 )

slide6I made the curls of frothy foamy cream by stamping and heat embossing with my super prize (a very nice rubber background stamp) from the Fall CLBH! (I masked off a circle and then stamped in white pigment ink and heat embossed the stamped image.)

Thanks, Jillian! I love this stamp and have designed 2 more cards for the Winter CLBH with it. I’ll be posting those tomorrow & on the 15th. slide4I added some red Stickles the rim of the cup.
