Hi! I am very happy to be here with a card inspired by this week’s CASology Week 180 cue card:

My colors were inspired by “Just Us Girls” Color Week #326.

I partially die cut the snowflake so that the front panel has an opening. (It’s been a while since I’ve played at CASology and I’ve missed it. So, Yeah! Yes! I AM playing!)

Since snow falls from the sky, I’d also like to play along at  One-layer Simplicity Challenge #23 The Sky’s the Limit and Word Art Wednesday’s Challenge #217 – Anything Goes.

I’ve had some snow at my house during the past couple of days. It’s been beautiful!

Texture Kissing for Zinnia

Here I am with a post for the week’s Make It Monday #219: Texture Kissing. Lizzie showed a super fun way to use the “Kissing Technique” to add texture to our stamped images. I’m going to have fun with this technique!

I used berry colors, SU’s Blushing Bribe, Pink Pirouette, Melon Mambo, Rich Razzleberry and Elegant Eggplant. I’m going to play this first card over at Less is More’s Week 235 Colour Challenge:Berry Shades.

My cards were also inspired by this week’s One-Layer Simplicity Challenge #19: Strip Down. First I masked off my card fronts (1 Classic Crest Cover Solar White 110 & 1 Pink Pirouette) and then I sponged on some SU Pink Pirouette ink.

Then I used PTI’s Bloomers,  Flower Favorites and Good Times stamp sets.I’m going to share this over at HLS’ August CAS Challenge: Masking. Make sure you go on over and check out all off the DT’s super creations and play along!!

I made 2 one-layer cards with berry colors. I was going for a Zinnia-like look in honor of my niece who is due to be born any day now! I can’t wait to see photos of the newest little flower in my family!

Vintage Flower -Table Cloth Inspiration

This card, I have to share with you today, was inspired by vintage table cloths.

While looking for inspiration photos for this post I learned something new. Ahem. Apparently, table cloths from the 80’s are now considered “vintage”.  Um, wow.

I’m going to play this at OLS 17 – Round and Round, Make It Monday #213: Cool Condensation Effects and CASology’s Vintage.

Sweet Summer – Emboss Resist

Today I have a one layer, emboss-resist card to share with you.

I used a Little Tangles free digital stamp on this card. I used my VersaMark marker to trace the the Sweet Summer sentiment and then heat embossed with clear embossing powder.

Next, I stamped over the sentiment with a variety of stamps from PTI’s Bitty Bouquets, Wee Folks and Brushed Blooms stamp sets.

I’m going to play this at Uniko Studio’s: Challenge #21: Flowers, ATCAS’ Challenge #64 – Animal and Little Tangles Challenge #56- Clean and Simple.

All Kinds of Weather

This card was inspired by this week’s MIM #208 Ombre Stamping with Laurie.

I used a stamp from PTI’s Blue Skies to stamp this design. The sentiment is from the same set. I also used a stamp from PTI’s Polka Dot Basics II.
