Hi! I’m happy that you have stopped by! Today I have a CAS shimmery flower card to share with you.  I used my NBUS STAMPlorations Faith Expressions stamp set.

I stamped the flower in embossing ink and then heat embossed with Hero Arts (my new favorite) gold embossing powder.

I painted the flower with my pink and orange Zigs.

I added Glossy Accents to the flower centers.

I added the sentiment, inking up the stamp with pink and orange inks.

Chasing Mojo with Sweet Kobylkin – CASEing Angela Tarasenko

Hi! I’m back again Chasing Mojo with Sweet Kobylkin. 🙂 This is a great idea that Ksenija had to help us get back into the creative mode after Christmas and New Year’s celebrations. I’ve been having a lot of fun CASEing multiple cards from those offered up at Sweet Kobylin.

I’ve been so inspired by many of the cards and would love to CASE them all! I wonder, is it possible?

For this card, I CASEd the lovely Kraft card by Angela.

Here’s my CASE, using a here-to-for uninked background stamp. NBUS!

I’m pretty new to coloring on Kraft, so I kept it simple by heat embossing the large image and coloring in the spaces. How about a rainbow in snowy January? 

I added some rainbow hemp cord that I won a few years ago from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

I added a big “Thank You” which I heat embossed onto vellum. I fussy cut away most of the vellum in order to expose the card-front.

Mermaid for CTS #140

Hi! I’m here with a card inspired by CAS(E) This Sketch #140.

Here’s my card.

I used a NBUS mermaid stamp set that my parents sent to me. Isn’t she cute?!

I also used another NBUS stamp, from PTI’s Ahoy stamp set.

I masked off the mermaid and sponged ink on for the sky. I also used my NBUS Kuretake watercolor paints to color the mermaid. I also used some Glossy Accents and a white gel pen to do make the “splash” and a gold one to add some sparkle to the mermaid’s hair. I added silver to her tail and the water with a gel pen and more Glossy Accents to her shells too. 🙂

Guest Designer – JUGS Challenge #310 Trend Week – Balloons

Hi! I’m excited to be here with you today with a card for Just Us Girls Challenge #310 Trend Week – Balloons.

I’m very happy to be Guest Designing for Just Us Girls for the month of September! This is my second post  as JUGS’ GD this month. I hope that you enjoy the DT cards, along with mine, and are inspired to play along. 🙂

I used PTI’s Polka Dot basics II and my NBUS SU Celebrate Today stamp sets to make this card. I also used an Avery Elles’ Pinked rectangle die and the balloon die is from SU. I’m going to play along at Word Art Wednesday’s Challenge #200 Let’s Celebrate, Darnell’s NBUS Challenge #5, SSS Monday’s Stamp And Punch/Die Cut and SSS Wednesday’s Simon Says STAMPtember® Use A Stamp Challenge And Blog Hop.

I did some ink-blending on the balloon on this fun and bright birthday card.  All paper and ink are Stampin’ Up, with the exception on the black ink which is VersaFine. I also used a Uni-ball Signo white gel pen to do some tracing and highlighting and a gold one to add some sparkle to the stamped confetti image on the balloon. I finished it off with a little gold enamel dot from PTI’s Make it Market : Garden Gild Set and some SU! gold thread.
