Winter Birthday with Love

Hi! I’m here with a quick post of a 1-layer, ombré, Winter birthday card.

I sponged on the woodgrain with a variety of blues and purples. I masked off half the card and sponged a medium blue onto the left side.

I stamped the dark purple tree in the foreground and then masked it off.

Then I stamped the bright blue tree and the dark blue tree.

I added the sentiment, the shadowy snow, the swing, and the heart.

Happy Rainbow Teacup Stack

Hi! I’m happy to be here today with a happy rainbow teacup stack to share with you. 🙂

I made this panel by heat embossing the STAMPlorations clear stamp Framed Tea Cups in white embossing powder.

Next I created the rainbow background panel using a variety of Brusho Crystal Color powders. I used the Brushos and spray starch technique that I learned from Kylie of Happy Little Stampers with a piece of watercolor paper.

Then I used a CUTplorations Die from Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle Nesting Dies.

I stamped the sentiment with the STAMPlorations Always Tea Time.

After that did some partial die cutting with the smallest of the stitched rectangle dies to make a sentiment panel. img_1759edited

I attached the large panel with the hole in it to a card base and added the tiny sentiment rectangle with adhesive. img_1762edited Then I added the smaller stamped and embossed Tea Cup stack panel to the card base.

img_1761edited I scooted the small panel up a bit from the original position to give room for the sentiment panel and also to achieve a more pleasing design. img_1761-copy

Vintage Flowers- Because He First Loved Us

Hi! I’m happy to be here today with a pretty rose card to share with you. 🙂 First I created a a background panel using a variety of Brushos Crystal Colors. I made this panel by picking up some left over color from another project with a piece of watercolor paper. img_1810edited

Then I used Altenew’s VINTAGE FLOWERS Clear Stamp Set, stamping and masking a variety of reds, pinks, oranges and yellows roses around the border of my panel. I added some leaves too.

I spritzed on some Smooch Spritz.

I stamped the sentiment with the Simon Says Clear Stamp set BLESSED.

After that I did some fussy cutting. I added some more Smooch Spritz and a some splatters of water color onto the panel. I added the panel to the card base with foam tape and then fussy cut the base.
