Two, Nautically

Hi! I’m here with a quick post with two bright stenciled cards.

First up, I have card using the ARTplorations Chevron Crazy stencil.

I printed with the inked up stencil with blue watercolor paint, printed the background and then stenciled with Gelatos.

I used a STAMPlorations stamp from the Explore set.

This card was inspired by Becca Cruger’s Birthday Bash Mood board. Happy Birthday, Becca!

Second, I have another card using the Chevron Crazy stencil.

I did some reverse stenciling and used the inked up stencil from my first card in this post. I squashed the inky stencil onto the mixed media paper, covered with a bit of scrap paper and rubbed the back of the stencil. Then I stenciled black ink into the negative spaces and heat embossed with clear embossing powder multiple times.

The seashell is a digital image from STAMPlorations. For now, I’ve left this without a sentiment. I’d like to play this card at Simon Says Stamp Monday Blog’s Challenge: Nautical/By The Sea.

If you have time, you can check it out here.

Also, please come back tomorrow, Friday, August 21 for my next post as CASology’s Featured Designer. It’s inky, messy and dedicated to a special person in my life.
