AAA Cards Challenge #125 – Inspired by a TV Show

Hi! I’m back with a fun Clean and Simple Card today for AAA Cards Game #125.

Did you know that AAA Cards Challenge’s CAS guidelines are among the strictly CLEANEST of the Clean and Simple Cards challenges on the web?

Special tips for competing (and being eligible to win) in this game:

1. As always, we’re looking for Clean and Simple (CAS) cards (minimal layers and embellishments, keep it simple, focused and clean looking with a fair amount of unaltered space) BUT for this game please show us and tell how your card has been influenced by our theme of “Inspired by a TV Show” as the focal point of your card.

2. As always and for all of  the games at AAA Cards the definition of Clean and Simple (CAS) means that white space should not be patterned, embossed (heat or dry) or textured in any way at all.

AAA Cards Game #124 – Imagine

Hi! I’m back with a fun new challenge for AAA Cards.

AAA Cards Game #121 – Friendship

Hi! I’m back with a fun new challenge for AAA Cards Game #121.

Here’s my super CAS, one-layer card.

I changed a plain heart stamp into a balloon image with some creative stamping. I also used a simple masking technique and a little water coloring.

Here’s my birthday card using some of one of sponsor’s, STAMPlorations, products.

 

I recycled a bird mask for this card. I used it on 2 other cards that you have seen here before.

I love finding interesting ways to recycle masks. I wanted to increase the number of male-friendly cards in my stash and the bird seemed to fit the bill.

I simply added a die cut panel to the card base and adhered the ombré die cut ‘birthday’ for the bird to perch on. I stamped ‘happy’ and was finished.

Hi! I’m back with a fun new challenge for AAA Cards.

2. As always and for all of our games our definition of Clean and Simple means that white space should not be patterned, embossed or textured in any way at all.

Here’s my one-layer card. I used GOLD, ONE-LAYER and MASKING. (I also used a colored cardbase and blue.) Anyhow, besides “flowers” and “watercolors” I think that I filled every other square. Which, of course, was not the challenge, but it was fun to see how many of the boxes I could tic!

I’ve been trying to NOT use flowers on ALL of my cards. I seem to use flowers and butterflies a lot.I’d like to have some masculine cards in my stash. What do you think? I really wanted to fit some water-colored flowers on in the background before stenciling, but I resisted. 🙂

I used STAMPlorations Chevron Crazy – ARTplorations Stencil and a die from the For the Birds die set.

I also used the “Be Strong” stamp from the Typografia in Faith collection.
