Hi! Melissa here with a fun twist on a way to use a cover plate die. I used the CUTplorations Dragonfly Cover Plate Die as a sort of stencil for today’s tutorial.
I have used the Bloomtangled #1 Cover plate die in the same way previously. 
When I used this technique in the past, I promised to explain it in a tutorial. See the above photo of a card that I made with Bloomtangled cover plate die and a similar stamp press/printing technique.

It wasn’t too long ago when you asked me if this tutorial was acceptable because you didn’t use an actual stencil. After looking it over, I told you it should work because you used the metal die as sort of a stencil. We had a little laugh at that. Seeing all these posts from you today…my heart still breaks.
