It’s Crunch Time

10 days! Ten days until the first set of movers come to pack up my family’s household goods for our final (prayerfully) international move. We won’t have our things back with us for 3-6 months.

So. I need to be reminded. The Bible says that God is good all the time. Did you know, that according to the Guinness World Records that, “Although it is impossible to obtain exact figures, there is little doubt that the Bible is the world’s best–selling and most widely distributed book.”

When all around me things seems dark and impossible…….

Also, I’m currently covered with nasty itchy horrid hives from an allergic reaction to, I believe, the hazelnut trees that surround my house. So, I’ve been distracting myself with organizing my craft supplies and doing a little crafting.

I love ink blending, so I incorporated that into my reminder.

There’s still so much left to do, getting ready for an agricultural inspection, separating out what will go in the next smaller shipment (bedding, towels, kitchen supplies etc. – via plane), what we’ll put into our luggage, maybe mail some things to ourselves………etc.so, it is truly…

Happy Birthday TIME OUT Challenges!

Hi! I’m here with a special post for Happy Little Stampers to celebrate Time Out Challenges’ birthday!

I used the “spotlight” technique. Maybe I should say “spotlights?”

I had fun creating my own background stamp using HLS’ Butterfly Birthday, Mix Mash and Doodled Flowers. I adhered a bunch of stamps to my stamp press all at once, inked the stamps up with a dark brown ink and then stamped multiple panels.

I colored one panel with alcohol markers and then die cut several circles.I attached the spotlights to the uncolored panel. I added a dark blue mat and a Kraft card base.

Hi! I’m here with a special post for STAMPlorations to celebrate Time Out Challenges’ 3rd birthday.

I used my STAMPlorations Happy Sunflower stamp to make 2 cards.

I stamped the sunflower in brown ink on 2 panels with my Misti and then die cut the rectangles. I used the CUTplorations Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle Nesting Dies. Then I colored in the frame of 1 panel and the center of the other and reassembled the panels.

The sentiment is from the lovely stamp set, Faith Expressions – Shery Russ Designs.
