LOVE TAGplorations – Day 5 – February 12, Sunday

Hi! I’m here for the 5th day of the LOVE TAGplorations event.  The event will last for 7 days, with the final day being Valentine’s Day. The STAMPlorations Girls will be showcasing love-themed or Valentine’s Day tags or projects which include tags. You can play along too!

I have a CAS, tagged, Valentine’s Day card to share with you today.

 This makes me think of a balloon, celebrations (like the Patriots winning the Super Bowl) and my husband who is a career military officer and, in my opinion, a hero. I think that this might be his Valentine’s Day card.

 I sponged red ink onto the white card base using the Zen Hearts ARTplorations stencil.

I cut a tag using the CUTplorations Luggage Tags Nesting Dies.

I also die cut a stencil using the CUTplorations XOXO Word Die.  I sponged a pinkish-red ink through my homemade stencil onto the tag.

I finished by hole punching through the card and the tag and adding some red and white twine.

Cupcake Inspired

Hi! I’m happy to be here with a bold Cupcake Inspirations Challenge 394 inspired card.

Here’s my card using a STAMPlorations digital stamp.

I colored the cupcakes with a variety of red markers and a silver glass pen.

I masked off the digi and then stamped with my homemade heart stamp. Finally, I colored in the hearts and fussy cut the panel attaching the panel to the black card base with foam tape.

Cupcake Inspirations Challenge Guest Designer

Hi! I’m happy to be here for STAMPlorations as a guest designer for Cupcake Inspirations Challenge!

Oooooo, don’t these look yummy!

Here’s my card using some STAMplorations digital stamps.

I printed the “You’re so sweet…..All you need is a cupcake.”

Then I fussy cut the sentiment and added some red outlines.

I colored the cupcakes with silver, black and red glitter glue.

LOVE TAGplorations Hop – Day 4 – February 11, Saturday

Hi! I’m here for the 4th day of the LOVE TAGplorations event. The event will last for 7 days, with the final day being Valentine’s Day. The STAMPlorations Girls will be showcasing love-themed or Valentine’s Day tags or projects which include tags. You can play along too!

Here’s my rainbow “XOXO” tag:

First, I die cut my tag using the CUTplorations Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle Nesting Dies.

I used the Hearts All Over – ARTplorations Stencil

I die cut the XOXO sentiment out of the tag using the CUTplorations XOXO Word Die.

Then I sponged R.O.Y.G. & blue inks onto another, white “XOXO”

 and inlaid the inked up die cut back into the tag.  I added some bits of mixed media pieces to the edges of the tag and then dry embossed the entire tag.

I added a small hole with a circle hole punch and attached my raspberry tinted twine.
