Hello! I’m very excited to be here with you for our second HLS Watercolor Challenge.
As always at Happy Little Stampers’ challenges……..we have a prize for you!
We would like to extend a huge welcome to our Guest Designer, Ingrid!
Here’s my card:
I used the emboss-resist technique to create a panel with heart stamps, clear embossing powder and….
Then, I did some die-cutting with a heart die and then inlaid some CUTplorations ‘hugs’ word dies. I matted the hearty, huggy heart by attaching it with foam tape to a white square of cardstock. The white embossed hearts make me think of the “Os” in “XOXO”. So this is a “hugs & kisses” hearty card. Don’t you think?
Next, I made another rainbow panel to frame the white panel and attached the entire thing to a white square card base.

the finished card with it!
What do you think? Is this a Cleaned and Layered card? I’d like to play along at The Card Concept #66: Love & Romance.
Lots of white…… hugs, hearts, the card and a rainbow heart and panel peeking out?! Oooo. I like it!
My teammates and I are excited to begin this new year with a fun new monthly challenge and by the number of you who played along last month, we think that you will enjoy it too!
Thanks for stopping by!
Grace & Peace,
Also, I’d be very happy if you’d like to……

Wow . . . beautiful job with the watercolor. I haven’t had mine out in a while, and you’ve definitely inspired me to them out. (Where are they?) Seriously, love this card.

LOVE the colours and the design of this card, Melissa. Do you inlay your dies just to be in the area of the heart? Genius! xx

Hey, Ingrid! I’m glad you like my card. 🙂 I am looking forward to having the moving process over with! 🙂 We had some sunshine here yesterday and it was so nice. Back to gray and rainy again today and more snow on Monday. The forecast is for gray weather until the end of next week. I hope that you are getting settled in nicely and that your new house begins to feel like home soon! ❤ Hugs to you!
