Winter 2016 Coffee Lovers Blog Hop – Sketched Red Cup Cocoa

Hi! I’m here with a card for the 2016 Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!!!!

To start, first I sketched the cup. πŸ™‚

Then I fussy cut my cup out.

slide1I created the background by sponging red ink through a paper doily onto white cardstock. I stamped the sentiment in the same red.slide5I watercolored the hot chocolate. (I’m not a coffee drinker. πŸ˜‰ )

slide6I made the curls of frothy foamy cream by stamping and heat embossing with my super prize (a very nice rubber background stamp) from the Fall CLBH! (I masked off a circle and then stamped in white pigment ink and heat embossed the stamped image.)Β

Thanks, Jillian! I love this stamp and have designed 2 more cards for the Winter CLBH with it. I’ll be posting those tomorrow & on the 15th. slide4I added some red Stickles the rim of the cup.
