I’m here with a post for the STAMPlorations Color Blooms Blog Hop and Linky Party. The party runs today, Wednesday, August 31, through Tuesday, September 6; 11:55 p.m. Pacific.
Today I will featuring some cards I made with STAMPlorations new coloring book Color Blooms.
I colored and painted one of the lovely sunflower pages which is divided into different quarters on the 1 page. Here is the uncolored page:
In this post I’ll be sharing my before pictures (the 4 panels from the page I colored) and the finished set of note cards which I made with said page.
Here the 4 colored panels of the 1 page before:
Notice that I used a variety of mediums (some in combination) on the 4 panels from this one page.
Panel 1: Inktense pencils (a light application of water with a paintbrush)
Panel 2: Wax pastels
Panel 3: Oil pastels
Panel 4: Acrylic paint and Inktense pencils (without water)
Here is the set of note cards that I made:
I used the new (and my NBUS) CUTplorations thin metal word die “hugs”.
Here are the individual cards.
Be sure to stop over at STAMPlorations’ blog to check out all of the Blooming creations by a big Color Blooms bouquet of the STAMPlorations girls.
Here’s another look at my set of note cards:
I hope that you’ve been inspired today!
