Hi! I am very happy to be here with a card inspired by this week’s CASology Week 180 cue card:

My colors were inspired by “Just Us Girls” Color Week #326.

IMG_3240editedI partially die cut the snowflake so that the front panel has an opening. (It’s been a while since I’ve played at CASology and I’ve missed it. So, Yeah! Yes! I AM playing!)

IMG_3251editedSince snow falls from the sky, I’d also like to play along atΒ  One-layer Simplicity Challenge #23 The Sky’s the Limit and Word Art Wednesday’s Challenge #217 – Anything Goes.

I’ve had some snow at my house during the past couple of days. It’s been beautiful!

It’s been a good time to stay inside and get some after Christmas house cleaning taken care of. Speaking of cleaning house, I’ve been organizing my blog a bit too. If you’d like you can visit by CAS/Nearly CAS and Mixed Media gallery pages. Click on the links or look at the top of this page.

  1. Love the partial die cut and your card has such a Nordic look to it! It’s beautiful! The pictures are fun to look at! Thanks for sharing and thanks for joining us this week at Just Us Girls!

  2. Melissa what a wonderful card, love that stamping on the front and two colours, just wonderful. Then the partial die cut, brilliant. And you couldn’t have asked for a better backdrop to your card, looks so cold there. Being summer here its hard to imagine as I have only touched snow once in my life.
