Challenge #169 – CAS

    Addicted to Stamps and More!

I’m so happy to be joining you as a member the of ATSM Design Team today with a card for this week’s CAS Challenge #169.

This week our sponsor is Sami Stamps.

Feel Free to Grab My Badge for Your Blog!

The prize is a $10 gift certificate for the store.

I used the digital image, Purple Pansies, provided by Sami Stamps, and made 2 different cards.https://honeybeelane.files.wordpress.com/2015/11/043d1-purplepansies-shop.jpg?w=621&h=208

The first one I colored with Zig Markers & Copic markers. I got my first ever Copic Markers for my birthday!

Have you heard of Icicle Pansies? They are a Winter Pansy. Icicle Pansies that are planted in late summer or early fall are guaranteed to bloom again in the spring. I once had some that survived under 5 feet of snow for 4 months in Massachusetts.

Here’s my second card. For this one I used Copic markers B24,B26,BG72,BG13, G28 & Y15 to color in the image. I also used a white colored pencil and a white gel pen. I think I’m going to like using Copic Markers!

I used this photo as inspiration. I’m pretty happy with how it turned out.

  1. Great colouring, I bet you’re loving your copics, I don’t think I’ll ever have any, if I do I won’t be able to afford more! I love the embossed panel too, great texture xx
