Hi! Welcome to Honeybeelane and welcome to the Happy Little Stampers 1rst Release Blog Hop. We have 4 new stamp sets & to celebrate our first release we are having this blog hop with prizes!!! I hope you’ve been enjoying the hop so far and that what you’ve been seeing has inspired you. You should have come to me from Birgit Norton’s blog. I always love Birgit’s creations. She has a lovely and sweet style. If you got lost along the way, don’t worry. Just start back at the Happy Little Stampers blog.
The HLS 1rst Release Blog Hop Prizes:
GRAND PRIZE – 1 Commenter (selected randomly) will win the whole release. That’s 4 sets of stamps with a value of AUD $69.
Check it out!
In order to be eligible for the prizes, please comment on the HLS blog, and then continue on to each Designer. The blog hop will run for one week in order to give you enough time to hop through and check out what the designers have been creating with the 4 new stamp sets.
Here is the full list of Designers in case you get lost along the way…
So! Now that we’ve gotten the business out of the way, let’s get to my cards. I made 9 for this post!! I’m excited to be showcasing three of the four 1rst release sets in this post. I’m going to keep my comments to a minimum from here out, so if you have any questions please leave them in the comments.
#1. First up is a card using both Bold Birthday Sentiments and Butterfly Birthday.
I made the next card using Big Bold Numbers.
Card #2:
Don’t be shocked. The new year is only 101 days away. 😉 This is a pretty simple card. I created a bokeh background and added the silver heat embossed numbers. These number stamps are BIG and Bold and FUN!
I used the Bold Birthday Sentiments set for this next group of cards.
Card #3:
I adhered almost every stamp in the set to my stamp press and then inked it up and made 4 different versions of the same card, using the stamped sentiment background. I really like the font of this set and the sentiments are versatile. You could use them for any celebration, not only a birthday.
Card #4:
Last up are 3 cards using Butterfly Birthday.
Card #7:
Woop wooop woooop! Bonus prize alert! LOOK FOR THE HONEYBEE PHOTO AT THE END OF THIS POST!!!
This is my absolute favorite stamp set in the release!
I love these butterflies. I used the “Happy Birthday” sentiment to create a background paper for this first card. I am loving this set so much that I am giving away 1 set to one randomly drawn visitor at honeybeelane. Please look for the Honeybee PHOTO at the very bottom of this post in order to enter the drawing for this stamp set from me! This is a private drawing sponsored by me and YOU MUST ENTER FROM my RAFFLE here in THIS POST at HONEYBEELANE in order enter the drawing.
This next butterfly card showcases one of the beautiful butterflies, embossed in black and with a “smooshed” watercolor background.
Card #8: (I’d like to play this card at CAS(E) This Sketch #141):
I made this next card using all 3 of the butterflies in the Butterfly Birthday set. I did some fussy cutting on this card. (Love this technique!!)
Card #9: (I’d like to play this card at SSS Monday’s Challenge: Love This Technique & Word Art Wednesday’s Challenge #201: Anything Goes.)
I hope I have inspired you today with my cards. The other HLS designers & I have had a lot of fun playing with these stamps! Don’t forget that you need to visit all of the designers in the hop in order to be eligible for the prize.
Now, you should be off to Sue Trembeth’s blog.
EXTRA PRIZE ONLY HERE AT HONEYBEELANE:
Because I am loving this Butterfly Birthday stamp set so much that I am giving away 1 set to one randomly drawn visitor.
This is a bonus give-away that I am sponsoring. Remember! You have to enter from the raffle here at honeybeelane. Here it is!!! Click on the photo below and you will be taken to my raffle.
If you get lost, don’t worry. Just start from the beginning & work your way through. Have fun!
