HLS September 2015 Sketch Challenge

Happy Little Stampers I’m happy to be sharing a card with you today as a member of the HLS Sketch Design Team.

CURRENT SKETCH CHALLENGE

Here is September’s Sketch:

Wow! Don’t you just love this one? I do!!

My card: IMG_8102editedI used PTI’s Peony Cover Plate Die to make this card. I’m really enjoying this cover plate die. Peonies and their sweet fragrance remind me of my my mother. I love you and miss you, Mum.

I sponged 2 backgrounds, 1 yellow and 1 red, for the flower in SU’s Real Red and Tim Holtz Squeezed Lemonade. Then I cut out 4 of the Peonies, in the sponged red and yellow and also in green and blue card-stock.

IMG_8158edited I put the sentiment on the inside of this card. I used a stamp from PTI’s Cheerful Heart Stamp set.

  1. It is really a beautiful card. I love her wonderful encrusting. The use of several colors on the card is even more beautiful.
