Precious Freedom

So! I had a ridiculous number of ideas for this week’s CASology Week 158 Challenge: Precious.

Here’s another card for this week’s challenge.

IMG_9755editedAs soon as I saw the cue word last week, the ideas came flying into my mind that I thought my brain might fry! So, I decided to sit down and and put them into a cute new sketch book that I purchased at IKEA a few days previously. I paid about 2 Euro and some change for it and I’m enjoying using it. 🙂

I quickly sketched 8 different ideas for CASology’s cue word! Although I sketched 3 other cards first, “Freedom” and the star card idea were really the very first idea to pop into my head. IMG_9888editedI made a lot of cards this past weekend, avoiding the heat, but did not get to this one until last night.

Then I got a peek at this week’s sketch from CTS. I changed my layout a little bit so that this card was also inspired by this week’s CAS(E) this Sketch.

IMG_9757editedI put off making this because I thought it might be a little fussy to make, especially when it was about 85 degrees F in my stamping nook! However, I was surprised at how quickly and easily it came together. I spent a lot of time stamping in my damp bathing suit!!

I’m going to play this card at CASology’s Week 158:Precious and CAS(E) This Sketch #135.

Thanks for stopping by!
