Hi! I’m Hannah, 12 y.o. daughter of Honeybee (I’ll be 13 in November :)) and I have a card to share with you for SSS Summer Vacation: Kid’s Challenge. I spent about 3 hours making this card today! My mother took a bunch of photos so you can see how I made this card. I really like it and I hope you do too!

I’m going to try playing this over at Virginia’s View Challenge #17. I embellished my card with lots of clear embossing powder and yellow straws.

I’m also going to share this over at HLS’ August CAS Challenge: Masking.

I’m glad that this challenge lasts all month because I have some more card ideas in my sketchbook.

Places I’m Playing:

Here I am with a post for the week’s Make It Monday #219: Texture Kissing. Lizzie showed a super fun way to use the “Kissing Technique” to add texture to our stamped images. I’m going to have fun with this technique!

I used berry colors, SU’s Blushing Bribe, Pink Pirouette, Melon Mambo, Rich Razzleberry and Elegant Eggplant. I’m going to play this first card over at Less is More’s Week 235 Colour Challenge:Berry Shades.

My cards were also inspired by this week’s One-Layer Simplicity Challenge #19: Strip Down. First I masked off my card fronts (1 Classic Crest Cover Solar White 110 & 1 Pink Pirouette) and then I sponged on some SU Pink Pirouette ink.

Then I used PTI’s Bloomers, Flower Favorites and Good Times stamp sets.I’m going to share this over at HLS’ August CAS Challenge: Masking. Make sure you go on over and check out all off the DT’s super creations and play along!!

I made 2 one-layer cards with berry colors. I was going for a Zinnia-like look in honor of my niece who is due to be born any day now! I can’t wait to see photos of the newest little flower in my family!
