1-layer Butterfly – Stenciled

Today I have one-layer butterfly card to share with you. The design for this card was inspired by this week’s CASology’s Week 157: Wings  and the colors are from ColourQ’s Cahllenge #301.

I’m also going to play this over at SSS Wednesday’s: Anything Goes.

IMG_8996editedI used a SU die to create a stencil and then sponged the butterfly in Calypso Coral, So Saffron and Crushed Curry. Then I masked off the butterfly with Post-It tape and sponged around the butterfly. This time I used So Saffron and Night of Navy inks. The sentiment is from PTI’s Scripted stamp set.

I’m also going to play this over at

Suzy Bee’s 1 August challenge 91: anything goes with a twist … wings or feathers.
