I’m happy to be sharing some cards with you today as a new member of the HLS Sketch Design Team for the first time! Woohoo! 🙂
Here is July’s Sketch:
My card:
Here is the photo that I used as inspiration.
I used PTI’s Flower Favorites to make this card. I’m loving this stamp. Lupine remind me of my home State of Maine.
I stamped the flowers in SU’s Rose Red, Melon Mambo and Whisper White. To the tops of the lupine, I added some more white with a gel pen. I also did some sponging and added SU’s Soft Sky and Pool Party ink to the background.
I had so many ideas for this stamp that I made a total of 4 different card with it! Check out the others below.
With this last card here, I’m going to join in at at WAW #189 and SSS’s Wednesday’s: Simon Says Anything Goes.
And here is the new HLS Sketch Design Team! Please make sure that you stop by all of these lovely ladies’ blogs to see their creations this month and extend your congratulations.
Asa Johansson (Sweden), Birgit Norton (USA), Gloria Lee (Canada), Joyce Mehrberg (USA), Kim Heggins (USA), Kylie Purtell (Australia), Loll Thompson (Canada), Melissa Lane (Germany), Sue Trembeth (USA), Tanja Kabel (Germany)

Thanks, Asa! I just planted 3 plants here in my garden in Germany. Unfortunately, the slugs and snails like them too. 😦 Boo!

Melissa, your cards are beautiful! The coloring on your lupine look so real. We have them growing all along the front banking in our yard. They’ve just recently gone by and are turning to seed. You’ve captured their true beauty perfectly!
