Rainbow Bubbles

Today I have a stencil card to share with you today.

  For this card I used my new ARTplorations bubbles stencil. The stencil is a prize from Shery at Stamplorations for my being the April CASology winner.  Thanks CASology and Shery! I’m playing this at Stamplorations Flash Stencil Project Linky Party!

I used Faber-Castell Gelatos to add the rainbow of color, then I cut the panel in 2 and added the sentiment. I’m going to play this over at SSS’s Monday Challenge: Thank You and SSS’s Wednesday Challenge: Anything Goes.

Mask-erade Class – Day 4 – Freezer Paper, 2

Today I have a Mask-erade Class Day 4 card to share with you.

This was my second attempt at masking with freezer paper. You can take a look at my first one here. I used a PTI cover plate to cut a mask out of freezer paper. I ironed the mask onto some watercolor paper and painted on a variety of watered down inks with a paint brush.

I thought that using this intricate die might have been a bit ambitious and did not expect such crisp results.

Mask-erade Class – Day 4 – Freezer Paper

Today I have a Mask-erade Class Day 4 card to share with you.

I’m taking the Mask-erade Class over at Online Card Classes. This was my first attempt at masking with freezer paper. Please take a peek at my second attempt at this technique here. I used two separate masks, an open heart overlapped by the “hello”. The hearts are Sizzix and the hello is Avery Elle.

 

I used Tim Holtz distress inks with acetate and Laura Bassen’s “smooshing” technique. You can get a peek at one her cards for Day 4 below, top center.I used some “Smooch Spritz” to add a little bit of interest.
