Here, I have another Sweet & Springy CAS card to share with you. I printed out one of my own photos, this one is of my niece, to use on this card. I am thankful to be able to share that I have had a few days of feeling a little more normal. Yesterday, I had a burst of energy and inspiration and made 10 different cards in the space of a few hours. Thank you, to everyone who has been praying for me.
I’m playing in LIM’s Week 220 Theme: Up, up and away .
This photo reminds me of a poem.
The Swing
by Robert Louis Stevenson
How do you like to go up in a swing, Up in the air so blue? Oh, I do think it the pleasantest thing Ever a child can do!Up in the air and over the wall, Till I can see so wide, River and trees and cattle and all Over the countryside– Till I look down on the garden green, |
I made my own stencil with a flower punch and added some homemade embossing paste flowers to the background. My niece has a flower name. Can you guess what her name might be?
I’ll also play this at The Mixed Media Flower Challenge. I’m going to play this over at CAS(E) this Sketch #119 and HLS April CAS Challenge #2oo: Stenciling. I’m also playing this over at SSS’s Monday Challenge: In the Middle.
For those of you who are wondering, I’m still awaiting multiple test results. God is working in my life. He’s enabling me to trust Him more as He shows Himself faithful to me in many ways.
This week, God gave me this verse, two days in a row: But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one. 2 Thessalonians 3:3 (NKJV)
Thanks for stopping by!
