Good News in Black and Red

CASology Cue Word for Week 141 is “News.” I don’t know about you, but sometimes I get tired of the “news”. When I saw the cue word though, what popped into my mind was how I love goods news! Then, a Bible verse, Phil 4:8, came to mind.

Here is card that I made using that verse.

I used PTI’s Happy Hearts and A Cheerful Heart stamp sets for this card.

I made 2 other slightly different versions of this card. Look here and here.

The New King James Version of this verse speaks of a GOOD REPORT! I’m currently having to trust God with lots of doctors appointments and test results. I got 1 good report yesterday and will be having another big test tomorrow. Honestly, I’ve been dreading tomorrow’s test, so keeping my mind focused on this verse today as been a struggle. God knows all about me though, and He has good plans for me, He won’t abandon me and I will think on these true things, this good news report.

Thanks for stopping by!

XO

Melissa

Places I’m Playing:

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.  Philippians 4:8 (KJV)
