Today I have another card for Virginia’s ViewChallenge #14: Cards with Layers and Dimension.
For this card, I die cut the sentiment out of some of my smooshed watercolor paper, then dry embossed the hearts and finally pieced in a white”Grateful”. For the card base itself, I made a stencil, sponged on some VersaMark and then heat embossed the hearts with clear embossing powder. I popped up the panel with some foam tape. I’m going to try palying this over at both HLS’s Challenges.
This is still fairly CAS, but has lots of layers at the same time.
I think this card demonstrates what my heart’s “Attitude” should be, even though I’m currently going through a trial. So, I’ll play this over at SSS’s Monday Challenge” “A” is for (Attitude).
Thanks for stopping by!

This card is a stunner! Those colors you chose are so dreamy and I love how you’ve swirled and mixed them together in such a vibrant palette. I also really like the techniques you used to build those fantastic layers of depth. The white “Grateful” sentiment you pieced in looks amazing and the whole thing came together beautifully. This was very inspiring to me and I’m so glad you shared it with us here at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog!
